Hello, it's Edward Timpson here, the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury, with the Christmas edition of my Eddisbury Report. 

And this time last year, when I was first elected—suffice to say—I wasn't expecting the difficult and often torrid year that we've all just had. 

PRIZES are up for grabs in a contest to reward the best festive decorated houses in Cheshire.

People are being asked to nominate their neighbours in the competition, which has been organised by the Eddisbury Member of Parliament, Edward Timpson.

A message from Cheshire East Council

Cheshire East Council has launched public consultations on local transport and parking plans across the borough. 

Today, the Prime Minister announced an additional £24.1 billion in funding for our country’s defence.
This funding will help safeguard the security of our nation and bring prosperity to every corner of the Union.

Rough sleepers across Cheshire to have access to new, safe, long-term homes, along with support, backed by more than £150 million.
First 3,300 of 6,000 planned new homes for rough sleepers to be delivered by March 2021.
