I have decided to stand down from Parliament at the next general election—whenever that may come—to take up advocacy and legal roles focussing on vulnerable children, using all I learned as a family lawyer prior to my election, and all I have learned in Government as Minister for Children & Families and HM Solicitor General.
I will continue to work hard for my constituents as their MP until Parliament is dissolved, and welcome contact from those who need my support, as well as those who wish to inform my representation work in the House of Commons.
My job remains a huge privilege, and I want to use it to best effect for you all while I am lucky enough to have it!
