I have stood down from Parliament at this general election to take up advocacy and legal roles with a focus on improving the lives of vulnerable children, using all I learned as a family lawyer prior to my election, and all I have learned in Government as Minister for Children & Families and HM Solicitor General.
My work remains a huge privilege, and I want to continue to use it to best effect outside of Parliament.
Thank you for all your support over my years representing the great County of Cheshire in the House of Commons.
