Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson has paid tribute to a firm which is actively recruiting staff after proving a huge success story.
Sales and marketing firm ROI based at Pepper House in Nantwich enjoyed a phenomenal 2009 in which it created 25 new jobs and beat London-based agencies to business from blue-chip clients.
Now managing director Nigel Sandiford is launching a recruitment drive while celebrating a new contract with car manufacturer Kia. A total of 25 new posts will be up for grabs over the coming months, swelling the workforce to 100.
He said: “Last year was an incredible year for us and we are pleased to say that our prospects in 2010 are looking even brighter.
“The contract with Kia is excellent news and once again we have secured this business against competition on the company’s doorstep in the South. On top of that we continue to work alongside some of the biggest names in car manufacturing, including Honda, Land Rover and Skoda.
“In just six years we have become one of the UK’s top sales and marketing agency within the automotive sector, and it’s thanks to a loyal workforce who have shown incredible commitment, pulling together to not only ride out the recession but beat it hands down.”
Return on Investment (ROI) offers a range of services helping car manufacturers grow their customer-base with services including lead generation, sales process consulting, sales training and CRM design. Now working with 10 car manufactrers, it has been particularly successful in the field of automotive business development.
The MP made a special visit to pay tribute to their commitment and congratulate Nigel on the firm’s incredible growth. He said: “I congratulate Nigel and his team at ROI on their tremendous efforts. To have a local business thriving and growing during a severe recession is a real boost to our economy in Crewe and Nantwich.”
Andrew Sellars, Head of Fleet and Remarketing at Kia said: “This is a very exciting time for the Kia brand in the UK. Our build quality, seven year warranty and class leading ‘whole life costs’ have helped make 2009 a record sales year for us despite the difficult economic climate.
“After a highly competitive tender process, we are delighted to have appointed ROI to help continue this growth over the coming years. ROI’s focus on customer satisfaction and their excellent track record in the industry made them the obvious partner to work with.”
